Social Media STRATEGIST
MCGUINNESS MEDIA & MARKETING is hiring a Social Media Strategist for their Warwick, RI office. We are actively searching for an experienced, strategic, detail-oriented, and proactive Social Media Strategist to help build and maintain positive, lasting client relationships based on effectively achieving the client’s marketing objectives. Our ideal candidate is articulate in both written and verbal communication, takes initiative, and provides leadership and mentorship to the junior team.
This position is responsible for overseeing the Social Media team (currently a Supervisor, Specialist and Coordinator). In this position, you will oversee all social-related work (including organic and paid) as well as processes for client and internal projects. Daily tasks may include reviewing social media schedules, social media tracking and reporting, proofreading, editing and more. You will be responsible for creating overarching strategic content and plans for all of the company’s social media clients. Most importantly, you will work with internal team members and clients to deliver the results in a timely manner. This position sits within the media team and reports directly to the Director of Media & Strategy.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or Journalism preferred

Minimum (3) to (7) years of relevant experience in social media strategy, content planning, client relationship management, overseeing team members, advertising and/or marketing role (agency experience a plus!)

Experience with organic and paid marketing on various social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and TikTok.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint required

Experience w/ influencer marketing preferred.

Experience with Sprout Social and Canva preferred.

ACCOUNT COORDINATOR
MCGUINNESS MEDIA & MARKETING is hiring an Account Coordinator for their Warwick, RI office. We are actively searching for a highly motivated, strategic, detail-oriented and proactive Account Coordinator to assist and manage client engagements and is responsible for overall client satisfaction, quality of service, and on-time, on-budget completion of creative projects.
This position is responsible for organizing, tracking, and coordinating all client related design work and processes for client projects as well as internal projects. Training will be provided on company best practices and client/account coordination. Daily tasks may include client communication, timeline building, routing work for review/approval, proofreading creative and/or trafficking artwork to appropriate outlets and more. You will be responsible for creating projects within the internal project management system, providing deadlines, tracking projects, and assigning tasks across the design team. Most importantly, you will work with internal team members and clients to deliver the results in a timely manner. This position reports directly to the Director of Accounts and Operations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS & DUTIES
•Primarily, this person will work directly with clients and the Director of Accounts on a project-by-project basis; manage project plans in collaboration with internal and external teams; adjusting project scope and schedules accordingly
•Must possess a thorough understanding of client’s attributes, marketing objectives, target audience, competitive environment and market dynamics
•Create, assign, and manage task completion using productivity tools like Freedcamp and Slack
•Must have strong client-facing presentation, verbal and written skills
ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS
•Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or Journalism preferred
•Minimum (2) years of relevant experience in project management, advertising and/or marketing role (agency experience a plus!)
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
•Experience with project management software (Freedcamp preferred)
