Social Media Supervisor

Compensation: Based on Experience

MCGUINNESS MEDIA & MARKETING is hiring a Social Media Supervisor for their Warwick, RI office. We are actively searching for an experienced, strategic, detail-oriented and proactive Social Media Supervisor to help build and maintain positive, lasting client relationships based on effectively achieving the client’s marketing objectives. Our ideal candidate is articulate in both written and verbal communication, takes initiative, and provides leadership and mentorship to the junior team.

This position is responsible for overseeing the Social Media Coordinators on the team. In this position you will oversee all social-related work (including organic and paid) as well as processes for client and internal projects. Daily tasks may include reviewing social media schedules, social media tracking and reporting, proofreading, editing, paid social campaign planning/implementation and more. You will be responsible for creating overarching strategic content and plans for the company’s social media clients. Most importantly, you will work with internal team members and clients to deliver the results in a timely manner. This position reports directly to the Director of Media & Strategy.

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or Journalism preferred
  • Minimum (3) years of relevant experience in social media strategy, content planning, client relationship management, advertising and/or marketing role (agency experience a plus!)
  • Experience with organic and paid marketing on various social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn required. TikTok preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Experience with Sprout Social preferred, or a similar social management system
  • Experience with Canva preferred
  • Should be a proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently. Need strong ability to set priorities, solve problems, and be resourceful under pressure.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Ability to multi-task, balance numerous and diverse operations, as well as possess the ability to work well with all levels of employees and management.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills to foster client, vendor, and internal relations

Marketing Coordinator

MCGUINNESS MEDIA & MARKETING is hiring a Marketing Coordinator for their Warwick, RI office. We are actively searching for a highly motivated, strategic, detail-oriented and proactive Marketing Coordinator to assist and manage client needs and is responsible for supporting the account and media teams with overall client satisfaction, quality of service, and on-time, on-budget completion of creative projects. This position is responsible for assisting the Media Managers and Account Supervisors with organization, working with outside vendor print orders, assist with billing and billing inbox, trafficking media creative (billboards, overheads, radio spots, etc.), develop campaign recap decks and overall daily assistance with project management tracking deadlines for media and print orders. Training will be provided on company best practices. Daily tasks may include client communication, timeline building, routing work for review/approval, proofreading creative and/or trafficking artwork to appropriate outlets and more. Most importantly, you will work with internal team members and deliver the results in a timely manner. This position reports directly to the Director of Media and Strategy.

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or Journalism preferred
  • (1) years of relevant experience in project management, advertising and/or marketing role preferred
  • Knowledge of proofing client work/quality assurance process is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Experience with project management software (Freedcamp preferred)
  • Should be a proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently. Need strong ability to set priorities, solve problems, and be resourceful under pressure.
